- Fieldays
The New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays Event is held in June each year on the Mystery Creek Events Centre site. This 87 hectare property is owned by the NZ National Fieldays Society and is located 15km south of Hamilton in the midst of Waikato's agricultural land. In the 30 years since it's inception, Fieldays has grown to be the largest annual trade expo in New Zealand and one of the largest agricultural expos in the world. Any profits made by the Fieldays Society are invested in further development of the Mystery Creek site and the events held there. - FTN : Family Television Network
The Family Television Network (FTN) is a division of Lifeway Trust Inc, a community charitable trust. It broadcasts to the northern region (includes the Warkworth and Snells Beach regions, south through Waiwera, Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Silverdale, the North Shore, Auckland CBD and Auckland's north facing eastern suburbs) and to the Waikato. Mighty River Power is a state owned enterprise (SOE) established in 1998 following the split of ECNZ. The Government's shareholding ministers are the Minister of Finance and the Minister of State Owned Enterprises. It produces electricity from nine hydro stations on the Waikato River and other generation resources, and sells it through retail businesses Mercury Energy and First Electric.
